Best Tablet Under 100 Dollars – That’s not a good tablet for the era
Even when you consider the time period in which it was launched (2015) and the cost of goods (less than most people’s phone bills), 7-inch iRULU 7 is just not a good purchase. It wasn’t, so it certainly wasn’t now.

This tablet hit the screen with a weak processor, sub-HD resolution, very little RAM, and there is nothing unique to distinguish themselves from others within reach. We don’t expect the world to be $ 50, you remember, but there are a number of factors that are not related to the technology itself that will encourage us to write it even in its heyday.

Initial reviews of this product complained of poor battery life, constant freezing and slowness problems, inability to touch screens, and inconsistent wireless performance. That’s a lot of important negative things for something that should be one of your main entertainment devices.

Software support has long been abandoned
Like many of these dozen tablets, iRULU 7 has been left on a very long operating system. It comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, a very good OS for the time but feels rather stale compared to Android 9.0 Pie on all the latest devices.

This alone does not completely damage the tablet, because many applications on Google Play are still compatible with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, if you hope for ongoing maintenance, and security updates, you should scratch iRULU from your shopping list.

There are many better choices in this price range
As mentioned earlier, substandard hardware can be forgiven with the right software support and at the right price. If you’re not interested in spending more than $ 100 on an Android tablet, you still have some good options to consider.

We will start with Amazon Fire HD 8. It’s a little bigger than you bargained at 8 inches, but what you’ll get is a tablet that still receives regular updates and all the latest features from Amazon. This includes the latest version of Fire OS with Alexa baked voice control.

It has a resolution of 1280×800 for real HD goodness, quad-core processor, 10-hour battery life, front and rear 2MP camera, at least 16GB of storage with options for expansion with microSD slots, and access to Amazon Appstore and the entire Amazon content ecosystem, including books, films and music.

The only downside to Amazon Fire HD 8 is that it does not have access to Google Play. This may be an agreement for some people, especially considering Google Play has always been the best place to get an Android application. That does not mean there are no good options on the Amazon Appstore, but the variations are not as wide, and the latest application updates are not always delivered on time.

If you want something with Google Play and don’t mind stretching your budget a little, we will recommend Samsung Galaxy Tab A. 7 inches. Coming to just under $ 100, most can adjust the intelligence of devices with newer Amazon Fire HD 8. The 720p screen is quite sharp for this size. With a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1.5GB RAM, it doesn’t turn on the fire performance graph, but must handle all your multimedia needs and some light games. There is not much 8GB of storage inside, but can be expanded up to 200GB via the microSD slot.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A also has a 5-megapixel camera on the back flanked by a 2-megapixel sensor on the front, which we value “pretty good” for video calls. Most importantly, he has access to Google Play, so you will be able to get your Android application from the undisputed best place to do it. The only downside is getting stuck on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and of course there are no plans for that to change.
